We have come to the conclusion that it is time to throw the ol' DASHBOARD 3 a retirement party! Sadly, all good things come to an end; but luckily, GREAT things take their place. We are now focusing all of our caffeine-induced energy on our new (and quite fabulous) DASHBOARD 4. DASHBOARD 4 offers great features, free tools, and is compatible with the most recent versions of Photoshop (CS5 and higher). For you folks who already have DASHBOARD 3 installed, we will continue support for a bit, but it will be retiring to a warm, scenic island destination soon. Very soon, and it will no longer work at that time.

System Requirements
• Adobe Photoshop CS3 or CS4
• Mac OS X 10.5 or higher OR PC Windows 7, Windows Vista or XP

Last Released Version
Version is 3.3.5. To see what version you are running, please go to the Settings menu at the bottom of your DASHBOARD and select 'About.' In the window that appears, you will see what version you are running. If your AutoAlubm DASHBOARD 3 is not version 3.3.5, please contact us.
 

Licensing

License Number
Your license number is the pin code that begins with KUB followed by a series of numbers and letters. This code will activate your AutoAlbum DASHBOARD 3. If you are unable to locate your license number, please contact our office with your name and email address.

Activate
To activate your product, please go to the Settings menu at the bottom of your DASHBOARD and select 'Activate.' Enter your license number along with your information and you're all set. It is a requirement that a computer be connected to the Internet during activation of any of our licensed Photoshop products. This is an added security measure that ensures individuals are using legal copies of our software. We apologize if this is an inconvenience, however, we find this to be a protective strategy we plan to uphold. We appreciate your understanding.

Licenses Uses
The license number for your product will allow you to activate on two computers of your choice.
 

Tips & Tricks

Edit an Image
1. Right-click on the image layer in the area to the right of the smart object icon.
2. In the menu that appears, select ‘Edit Contents.'
3. Click 'OK.' The message describes that you need to save your images (after changes) in the same file format.
4. The image will open in a new window where you can make your changes.
5. When you are done editing your image, flatten it and go to File > Save.

Replace an Image
1. Right-click on the image layer in the area to the right of the smart object icon.
2. In the menu that appears, select ‘Replace Contents.'
3. In the window that appears, find the image that you would like to replace the old with and click 'OK.' (Please keep in mind it will need to be the same orientation.)

Find My AutoAlbum DASHBOARD 3
To get your DASHBOARD back up, simply go to File > Automate > select the Kubota Bor-Tex Dashboard Palette... The DASHBOARD should immediately reappear. You may want to see if you have the Auto Close feature turned on as well by going to the Settings menu > Auto Close Dashboard. If you do not see it in the File menu, there are a couple of things you can check if your AutoAlbum DASHBOARD is missing after install. Please be sure that you are in a version of Photoshop CS3 or higher. Also check if you are an administrator on the computer you are installing on.

Automatic Close
If you go to the Settings menu on the DASHBOARD, you'll see the option "Auto Close DASHBOARD." If there is a check next to it, the feature is turned on. To turn it off, simply click 'Auto Close DASHBOARD' again.

Templates Unavailable
We recommend you reset your licensing by following the steps below.

1. Close Photoshop and remove the specified folder relative to your operating system.

MAC: Finder > Hard Drive > Users > Shared > Kubota Image Tools > and remove KAA3 folder.

VISTA / WIN 7: C:Drive > Program Data > Digital Elements > and remove KAA3 folder.

Tip: If you do not see the Program Data folder, please go to your Control Panel > Folder Options > and click on the View tab. Now, scroll down and turn on the ‘Show Hidden Files and Folders’ option, press APPLY and then OK. Now try browsing to the path above again.

XP: C:Drive > Documents & Settings > All Users > Application Data > Digital Elements > and remove KAA3 folder.

Tip: If you do not see the Application Data folder, please go to your Control Panel > Folder Options > and click on the View tab. Now, scroll down and turn on the ‘Show Hidden Files and Folders’ option, press APPLY and then OK. Now try browsing to the path above again.

2. Now open Photoshop and license your product.

Red Xs
We recommend you reset your licensing by following the steps below.

Blue Question Marks
If you see blue questions marks next to some actions, this indicates that you have not purchased them yet. If you would like to purchase them, please use the 'Update' button at the bottom of the AutoAlbum DASHBOARD 3 to do so. If you have already purchased them, please contact us.

CS2 and/or Mac OS X 10.4
The AutoAlbum DASHBOARD 3 is not compatible with CS2 or Mac OS X 10.4.
